Chattahoochee Food Works – Filling 32 Stalls with a Global Culinary Experience

Challenge

In the heart of West Midtown, Chattahoochee Food Works set out to create a dynamic 25,000-square-foot food hall featuring 32 unique stalls. The vision was to offer a global culinary experience — a place where locals and visitors could explore flavors from around the world.

Launching during COVID-19 brought significant challenges. Recruiting independent, emerging restaurant operators at a time when the hospitality industry faced unprecedented uncertainty required a strategic, relationship-driven approach.

Approach

Terra Alma was engaged to:

  • Market the opportunity to a highly targeted group of emerging restaurateurs and culinary entrepreneurs.

  • Leverage our hospitality network to find operators whose concepts offered diversity, cultural authenticity, and operational strength.

  • Vet potential vendors on both their culinary quality and business readiness to operate in a high-profile, high-traffic setting.

  • Secure marketing and event coordinators to ensure the grand opening would capture both media attention and community excitement.

Throughout the process, we maintained active communication with prospects, provided guidance on lease terms and stall requirements, and positioned the food hall as a sought-after platform for growth.

Results

  • All 32 vendor stalls filled before the grand opening, representing a diverse mix of global cuisines.

  • Established a waitlist of over 200 qualified vendors eager to join should stalls become available.

  • Successfully secured marketing and event teams that helped launch Chattahoochee Food Works with strong public awareness despite pandemic-era challenges.

  • Positioned the food hall as one of Atlanta’s premier culinary destinations, attracting both locals and tourists.
